Antenna Magazine Summer 2009 PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 04 June 2009 13:01
Antenna Magazine Summer 2009

Society of the Spectacle featured in Antenna Magazine's Summer 2009 issue.

“Antenna is the first mainstream magazine to target individuals who are on a constant quest for the newest and coolest products on the horizon. And it does so without using celebrities, models, concept shoots, service stories and whatever else we deem superfluous to our mission: to become a guidebook, allowing readers to navigate the most extensive collection of products ever compiled in a single publication, while championing the people who create, sell and collect them—all in one comprehensive, artful, elegant and innovative format.”

In our opinion Antenna is the future of fashion guides utilizing Japanese editorial style and sensibility.

DNR March 3rd Issue

Andrew Harmon the West Coast Editor for DNR Magazine made a visit to our booth at this Spring 2008's Pool Trade Show and we had the pleasure of chatting a bit and showed him our first collection to get his reaction. Here's what he had to say about the show with a little comment about Society of the Spectacle.

“Graphic T-shirt-based lines—long the bread and butter of the show—were still numerous, with several highlights in the category. Newcomer Society of the Spectacle showed captivating black-and-white biological drawings of octopi and snake skeletons (replete with intact mice trapped inside)”
